Nurphalt, is a cold asphalt and is a guaranteed pothole patching material. It is a special blend of asphaltic polymer adhesives and carefully graded aggregates. It is not just a pothole patch but is guaranteed pothole repair. It will remain in the repaired areas in the same condition as when the initial repair was done. It will not rut, ravel or shove in the repaired area. Requires no mixing or heating. It can be used to permanently patch when the surface temperatures are as low as -40° or as high as 168° Fahrenheit. Special Features

Nurphalt (Cold Asphalt) is the only rapid-curing asphaltic concrete patching material in existence. It will rapidly achieve a very high stability and in-place allowing a repair to be made in an unconfined area. There will be no shoving, rutting or migrating in the patched area.

It is non-hazardous and has a neutral PH, containing no acids allowing for permanent patching to be done on concrete areas. It can be used to on when temperature are as low as -40˚ or as high as 168˚ Fahrenheit without the addition of any tack oil or bonding agent. It is NON-HAZARDOUS, NON-CAUSTIC and NON-FLAMMABLE.

 

Application for a Pathhole Repair
  1. Ensure area is clean from debris
  2. Seal the pothole edges and substrates using Nurphalt(Cold Bitumen)
  3. Fill in hole with Nurphalt(Cold Bitumen)
  4. Tamp down

Application for First Time Permanent Repairs
  1. Saw cut a ‘picture frame’ around the repair or reinstatement area
  2. Ensure the area of clear of debris
  3. Seal vertical edges and substrate with Nurphalt(Cold Bitumen)
  4. Apply the product to a depth of approximately 45mm / 1.77in and compact to 30mm / 1.18in in order to achieve your first layer.
  5. Re-apply Nurphalt(Cold Bitumen) to vertical edges before a second layer of Nurphalt(Cold Bitumen) is applied
  6. Repeat step 4 to achieve the 60mm / 2.36in depth

Reinstatements requiring up to 60mm / 2.36in in depth can be achieved by using the layer-on-layer method.
